Our Team
Pitchday is growing, and we’re looking for a standout Creative Account Director to take ownership of one of our flagship accounts (currently Google Gemini) and lead multidisciplinary creative teams to deliver work we’re proud of. You’ll be the person who sets the standard: defining the playbook, creating clarity, removing blockers, nurturing talent, and ensuring the team produces consistently excellent work without needing you in every conversation. You step in where your expertise matters most. As a Creative Account Director, you become the bridge between client vision and creative execution. You turn ambiguous strategic briefs into actionable direction, guide the team to deliver engaging and on-brand solutions, and act as the single reliable point of contact for our clients.
What you will do
- Own day-to-day client delivery: plan, coordinate, and manage all work streams from briefing to final output, ensuring projects launch on time and to the required standard.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client, providing proactive updates, setting expectations, and addressing challenges before they become problems.
- Translate briefs into clear creative direction, making sure designers and producers know exactly what is needed, why, and by when.
- Ensure the quality of creative work, reviewing concepts and deliverables to confirm they meet brand guidelines, performance goals, and client requirements.
- Lead and mentor the team, giving guidance, feedback, and coaching to help designers and account staff grow and deliver at a high level.
- Create and maintain delivery plans, assigning ownership, defining timelines, and managing capacity across the account.
- Support commercial performance, monitoring budgets, resource usage, and identifying opportunities for upsell based on strong delivery and client needs.
- Facilitate cross-regional collaboration, coordinating work across different time zones and cultures to ensure unified and consistent output.
Who you are
- An experienced project/account manager with 5+ years leading design or creative delivery in a studio or agency environment.
- Skilled at running end-to-end creative projects, keeping timelines, budgets, expectations, and scope under control.
- Experienced in the marketing, design, or creative industry, ideally working with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Comfortable working day-to-day with a highly competent and global client team (including Google Gemini stakeholders).
- Strong in communication, with the ability to make complex requirements simple and clear.
- Able to translate client needs into actionable direction for design and production teams.
- Detail-oriented with high standards for creative output and delivery.
- Experienced in leading design work involving AI-driven workflows.
- A supportive leader who can motivate, guide, and grow creative talent.
- Excellent English in both writing and speaking.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in design, art, marketing, communications, or similar.
Nice to have
- Understanding Southeast Asian languages/cultures is a plus.
- Passionate about tech and creativity.
- You are someone who stays on top of new tools, trends, and industry shifts.
- Familiar with one or many of our working tools, such as Google Workspace, Slack, Float, and modern AI platforms like Gemini, ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.
